Moon with Tamron 70-300mm
night-train, 00:09h
This shot was taken a few minutes ago with my Canon Digital Rebel XTi (EOS 400D). The Lens was a Tamron AF 70-300mm 1:4-5,6 Tele-Macro.
I used a Manfrotto Tripod with Ballhead, Twin1-Cable-Release and Mirror Lock-up.
It wasn't that dark, the sky looked deap blue during the shot, but to expose the bright moon I exposed with ISO 200, f6,3 and 1/250sec (too short for this late evening sky).
I am not impressed by the quality of the lens, had to sharpen the picture a lot. But it's OK for a picture of this size.
Have a nice, warm may-night!
Gerhard
